I engaged with the Cambridge Loft Company on the back of a local professional reference. The project brief given was to design and build a contemporary loft addition to our Family home in Cheveley, Cambs. We were hoping to achieve a light and practical space for our Eldest Son to utilise. The Cambridge Loft Company came up with an aesthetically pleasing design to include a large bedroom, a separate study area and an associated ensuite bathroom.
Floor to ceiling large glass sliding doors were fitted to the entire elevation to include integral blinds and externally mounted juliette balconies. The fixtures and fittings used were of the highest quality and the finish of the works was first class throughout to include the extensive LED mood lighting. Another great addition was the handmade curved full size (functional) bespoke staircase with shaped glass balustrading to include coloured downlighters.
As a Family we continued to live in the house below throughout the 26 – week build program and found the Cambridge Loft Company to be very Considerate Contractors in that they delivered the works without any disruption to our day to day living, water or electricity supply.
Due to the use of alarmed fixed scaffolding with fitted/locking doors the daily security of the property/site was never compromised and the guys went the extra mile in ensuring the base of the scaffolding was designed to be anti-climb due to the proximity of young children in the garden below.
I would thoroughly recommend this Company to anyone considering either a loft development or any general building/carpentry works.
